Great work with some new faces on the podium. We are in a cyclical period. Alot that raced 2009 Worlds during Winter having a break, so the usual names arent necessarily there to podium at the moment. Its a great chance for the new group of athletes from the team to step up and fill their places!! As well as being some great pbs by lots of athletes yesterday, there were also 6athletes just outside the podium in the top 5....Keep it up... Coach Foz

25th September 2009 - Hawaii Ironman 2009 - Fluid Pro Team

Good luck to Kristy, Jacinta and Brendan as they get set for the big race. A quick update on how they are feeling just prior to leaving for Hawaii
Kristy Hallett - Ive been lucky this year. I couldnt have had a better preparation for the tough conditions well face in Hawaii after having to train through this winter and springs gale force winds in Melbourne. Im fitter than Ive ever been and I cant wait to get over to the Big Island and start acclimatising.
Brendan Holland - I had a hard fought 3rd place at Port Mac where not everything went to plan. The same goes for this prep, dealing with a leg injury, but I was there in 2006, and know whats required.
Jacinta Collier - I am excited, a little bit nervous and looking forward to the challange and getting out there and giving it my best! Ive got the same feeling I had way back when I first started triathlons at 13... a mixture of butterflys and excitment for the unknown. I cant wait to get out there!!!
